Odd jobs & DIY
The chances are that somewhere in your home there's a DIY job that's been on your mind to get fixed for ages - or maybe there's lots of them!
We all lead busy lives, and quite often DIY jobs just never get done, either because we don't have the time, or we're unsure how to do it.
I can do any DIY job to a high standard. The list below shows some of the kinds of jobs I do:
- New hard flooring - laminate or tiled;
- tiling (bathroom & kitchen);
- tongue & groove panels (e.g. in kitchens instead of tiles);
- coving (wall to ceiling joins) & skirting (wall to floor joins);
- architrave (door frames), new doors & new door handles;
- 'boxing in' unsightly things (e.g. pipes, meters etc.);
- window locks;
- fitting ceiling & wall lights;*
- fitting new light switches & plug sockets;
- assembling & fitting flatpack units or furniture;
- shelving;
- curtain poles;
- hanging pictures & mirrors;
- painting & decorating (inside & outside);
- Garden maintenance
* Please note: for any electrical wiring work, please use a qualified electrician.
